Announcement of Provider Departure

Hello from Pride Family Medicine. We hope you are doing well!

We regrettably announce the planned departure of Ashley Whatley, NP from Pride Family Medicine and wish her the very best in all of her future endeavors as she plans to relocate outside of the Austin area this summer. If you are a patient of Ashley’s, I invite you to read her message below and send her a farewell message HERE.

Dear Patients,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. I’m writing to share some important news: after much reflection, I have decided to step down from my position as Nurse Practitioner at Pride Family Medicine, effective June 13, 2025, as I will be relocating out of the Austin area.

This decision was not made lightly. For nearly eight years, I’ve had the incredible privilege of caring for, advocating for, and connecting with you. I’ve shared in your triumphs and your struggles, and every moment has been deeply meaningful. I’m truly grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me and for allowing me to be part of your healthcare journey.

Please rest assured that your care remains a top priority. Pride Family Medicine is committed to ensuring a smooth and seamless transition. You are in excellent hands with my colleagues Raissa, Suraj, and Melissa—many of whom you may already know. They are ready to continue your care with the same dedication and compassion.

If you choose to continue your care outside of our practice, we completely understand. While I do not yet have a new role confirmed, I plan to stay in Central Texas—possibly in the Dripping Springs, Wimberley, or San Marcos area. If you’re curious to follow my next steps, I’ll keep my LinkedIn updated.

Our office staff is here to support you with any questions or medical record requests. Please don’t hesitate to reach out via the patient portal or call us at 512-379-7272.

Thank you again for the honor of being your provider. It’s been one of the greatest joys of my career. I wish you continued good health, happiness, and all the best.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Ashley Whatley, APRN
