Dr. Behm is truly astonishing – an amazing and incredibly intelligent physician. There are hardly words to fully express my experience during my visit with her. She has a rare presence: A radiant compassion and genuine care for her patients that is extra extraordinary.
From the moment I met her, she made me feel heard and understood. For years, I struggled to get a clear answer about what my body was going through, even after many doctor visits, including during my time as a veteran in the military. Dr Behm, took the time to listen deeply and explain things in a way that finally made sense. Because of her, I was able to find answers I have been searching for for so long.
I walked in feeling nervous, expecting to hear the same routine response I’ve heard before – but this experience was completely different. Her attentiveness, compassion, and ability to truly listen are phenomenal.
The staff were just impressive-kind, welcoming, and friendly. The entire environment felt warm and comforting, almost like being welcomed home by family.
I am deeply grateful for the care I received.

I had my first visit with Pride Family Medical yesterday and have to admit I was blown away. This is definitely not your typical medical production line – every single person at the facility that I worked with was extremely friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and most importantly -human. It was like being treated by people you’ve known for a long time. Not only did we have conversations about medical matters, we talked about ourselves and our lives. Connections were made.
Pride Family Medical was able to consolidate my medical care in such a way that I now can avoid having to go to appointments at four separate medical facilities – they can handle everything at their location. Super convenient and saves a lot of money! I feel like I’ve found my medical nirvana! I wish I could give more stars!
There are some mixed reviews here but I had a wonderful experience personally! I finally received the care I have been begging for from other docs in ATX thanks to Liam and NP Melissa Wright. Though the wait for an appointment was lengthy, I think it was worth it. My previous PCP never listened to me and kept putting bandaids on my health issues instead of getting to the root of the issues. With just one visit, I feel like we took major steps towards getting relief. Melissa seems like she genuinely cares about you, asks tons of questions, is transparent, explains things in a way that make sense and gives lots of options for potential treatment. The whole team is great with trans patients, gendered me correctly, and didn’t use my deadname at all – something that a lot of ‘trans ally’ practitioners struggle with. My prescription was filled immediately and I got a call from my pharmacy the next day that it was being sent out. The receptionist was also great, (I didn’t catch their name) they were helpful with updating my preferred name and when we called back to confirm the name of a cardiologist, they handled it quickly and professionally. It’s clear to me that Pride Family Medicine made some great hiring decisions with Melissa and team, and I hope other patients who visit get a chance to work with the folks that helped me during my visit yesterday. 🙂
